Review:
Pulp Fiction, despite borrowing almost every film ever made, is the most invigorating theater experience filmgoer can ever hope to. This hodgepodge of violence, chaos, and general deviant behavior is an attack on the senses, not to mention political correctness. However, despite all the skill and style of the film, it depends on the performance of time-Samuel L. Jackson as Jules. The fact that he was denied the Oscar downright shame. Martin Landau, best actor winner this year, was a terrible and funny Ed Wood, but Jackson was perhaps the most upper screen presence in the film history of biblical quotes, Godfearing Hitman. Last scene in the cafe with Tim Roth still sends chills down my spine, no matter how many times Ive seen. Rumors of a prequel involving Jules and Vincent (John Travolta) has been floating around recently. If Quentin Tarantino wants to recover the fans it has lost disappointing (but still pretty good), Jackie Brown, he would have to work immediately. Ill be the first to see the end product.
