Review:
I remember with affection, Henry Fonda, Raymond Massey and Lincolns in Mr.Lincoln and Young Abe Lincoln in Illinois gave impressive performances. But here and now, in this extraordinary Steven Spielberg / Tony Kushner version, the illusion is complete. I watched the president, even for a moment thought an actor. Only close to unique. I left the theater feeling I was just out of body experience. All around the central government - and I say this because the performance I do not know what else to call it - it comes to a point in a miraculous way. Photography, set design, wardrobe can be really feel period. Congratulations and thank you.
